GIVE US A CALL SO WE CAN START HELPING- WE ARE JUST A PHONE CALL AWAY
Professionals who diagnose and treat mental illnesses are known as mental health practitioners. The majority of them have a master’s degree or other advanced education, training, and qualifications. Counseling and medication are two popular treatments for mental health issues. Therapy or psychotherapy are additional terms for counseling. Some mental health professionals exclusively prescribe medicine, while others offer both therapy and medication.

Counseling and Medication
Psychiatrists are doctors who specialize in treating mental illnesses. Medication can be prescribed and monitored by any psychiatrist. Some, but not all, of their patients get counseling. Many psychiatrists specialize in certain areas or age groups, such as addiction psychiatry, military psychiatry, or pediatric and geriatric mental care.
Mental health nurse practitioners can also administer and manage medications as well as give therapy.
These professionals are also known as psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners or advanced practice psychiatric nurses.

Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) Service extenders are QBHPs.
The QBHP (Qualified Behavioral Health Provider) aids the client in reinforcing the skills learned or developed in therapy sessions with the MHP through review and practice.
To contribute to the treatment team, QBHPs acquire information about the client via collateral association with the client. The interventions of the QBHP for each client are documented on the client’s treatment plan as well as in the “plan” of the MHP’s progress notes. Observations are routinely reported between the MHP and the QBHP and are documented in the client’s medical record.
Details and specifications are discussed and documented in the client’s chart on a regular basis between MHP and QBHP.
